Overview[]

The Federal Partnership for Interoperable Communications (FPIC) is a coordinating body that focuses on technical and operational matters within the Federal wireless communications community. Its mission is to address Federal wireless communications interoperability by fostering intergovernmental cooperation and by identifying and leveraging common synergies.

The FPIC represents more than 40 Federal entities; its membership includes program managers of wireless systems, radio communications managers, information technology (IT) and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) specialists, and telecommunications engineers. State and local emergency responders participate as advisory members.
