Overview[]

The Federal PKI Policy Authority (FPKI PA) is

composed of representatives from the major Federal agencies and departments skilled in implementing public key infrastructure solutions within their agencies. The Policy Authority is responsible for administering the policy framework of the Federal PKI architecture, which includes the Federal Bridge Certification Authority and the Federal Common Policy Framework, both of which are designed to promote interoperability and mutual trust among the participants.[1]
