Definition Edit

Expertise sharing is

information sharing efforts . . . linking or bringing together individuals from separate organizations so their interdisciplinary expertise can be applied to common problems.[1]

Overview Edit

"While it could be argued that this is a type of knowledge sharing, it is very different from what is accomplished by exchanging written lessons-learned reports or strategic intelligence products. Linking people and their expertise shares the tacit knowledge and experience held by the individuals involved."[2]
