The California Highway Patrol's Emergency Notification and Tactical Alert Center (ENTAC) is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to receive reports of computer crimes from state agencies.
ENTAC is responsible for the following:
- provides statewide AMBER Alert coordinator providing the public with immediate and up-to-date information about a child abduction via widespread media broadcast
- provides statewide AMBER Alert training for the Department and allied agencies
Administers the Counterterrorism Watch program
- Completes Computer Security Incident Reporting
- Completes Suspicious Activity Reports.
