Overview Edit

The Electronic Information Exchange System (EIES)

was one of the first collective intelligence projects. It came online at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1976. The goal behind it was to raise the level output from groups to that of of the whole intelligence of the group rather than allowing discourse to sink to the level of the lowest common denominator.[1]
