EU Kids Online was a three-year study on how children across 21 EU Member States use ICTs. From 2006 to 2009, the project examined available research across Europe on online risks including studies and comparative take-up and usage data and identified research gaps. The final report of the project was released in June 2009.
Between 2009 and 2011 EU Kids Online II conducted research across the EU member states based on national samples of children and parents, to produce comparative data on internet use across Europe and experiences in using ICTs.
