Overview[]

The Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) is

the organization, operated on behalf of the electricity subsector by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, that gathers and analyzes security information, coordinates incident management, and communicates mitigation strategies with stakeholders within the electricity subsector, across interdependent sectors, and with government partners. E-ISAC is one of the organizations with which the Secretary [of Energy] will consult, to the extent practicable, in issuing an emergency order.[1]
