Microsoft's Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) is comprised of more than 100 attorneys, investigators, business professionals, and forensic analysts based in North America, EMEA, Asia/Pacific, India, China, and Latin America. DCU focuses on combating issues such as malicious software, including malware and botnets; IP crimes, including software piracy and counterfeiting; and technology-facilitated online child exploitation.
