Descramble is

the act of taking a scrambled or encrypted signal — one that has been processed by a scrambler and unscrambling it to make it available for viewing.
[t]he restoration of the characteristics of a vision/sound/data signal in order to allow reception in a clear form. This restoration is a specified process under the control of the conditional access system (receiving end).[1]
