The Kentucky Department of Geographic Information (DGI) is part of Kentucky's Commonwealth Office of Technology (COT) and is responsible for maintenance of the Commonwealth's enterprise GIS services. The DGI manages the Kentucky Geography Network (KYGEONET), Kentucky's geospatial data clearinghouse. The Division has also established collaborations with all levels of government, "in order to promote the application of GIS through strategic planning, technical support, policy development, and administrative and technical support of the Geographic Information Advisory Council (GIAC).[1]
