The DIAP is

[t]he DoD intelligence analysis community's resource allocation and prioritization program. The DIAP establishes the policies, procedures, responsibilities, and levels of analytic effort required to provide timely, objective, and cogent intelligence to warfighters, defense planners, and policymakers.[1]
