Overview Edit

The Critical Intelligence Communications System (CICS or CRITICOMM) is a former National Security Agency (NSA) flash-intelligence alert and warning system.

CRITICOMM was designed to flash to the U.S. President and a number of other senior officials intelligence alerts and warnings of the highest priority. It was the goal of NSA to have such a CRITIC message on the President's desk within ten minutes of the event.
