Overview Edit

Pursuant to the Computer Security Act of 1987, the Computer Systems Security and Privacy Advisory Board was established to identify emerging managerial, technical, administrative and physical safeguard issues relative to computer systems security and privacy and to advise the NIST and the Secretary of Commerce, and to report findings to the Congressional Oversight Committees.[1]
