The Computer/Law Journal was a quarterly law review published from 1978 to 1993. It was published by the Center for Computer/Law located on Manhattan Beach, California. The publisher for its entire run was attorney Michael D. Scott.
The journal was the first periodical devoted exclusively to the emerging field of computer law. For a period of time in the 1980s, the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in Los Angeles edited the journal. Editorial control was subsequently transferred to the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, which eventually took over the journal and renamed it the John Marshall Journal of Computer and Information Law.
