Computer-aided instruction (CAI) (also called computer-assisted instruction)

involves use of computers to aid in the delivery of instruction. Computer-aided instruction exploits computer technology to provide for the storage and retrieval of information for both the instructor and student.[1]

Overview[]

Computer-aided instruction usually refers to the use of computers to support instructor-led classroom instruction. Using computers as a presentation media for slides, audio, or motion pictures, which support large or small group instruction, is an example of CAI.[2]
