The Bulgarian Communications Regulation Commission (CRC), an independent agency established in 2002 in accordance with EU telecommunications requirements, is responsible for approving licenses, and frequency, technical, market, and legal regulation. The CRC promotes market competition, enforces license conditions, and promulgates appropriate consumer protection measures.
