Churn is

[t]he number of subscribers who leave a service provider over a given period of time, usually expressed as a percentage of total customers.[1]
the turnover in the number of subscribers to a network, typically measured monthly.[2]

Overview Edit

"There are several different ways of measuring churn (for instance, based on the subscriber base at the start or the end of the month) which means that comparisons between companies or between countries are not always meaningful."[3]
