The Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) is a standards-based organization created to promote in-vehicle connectivity solutions using portable devices, as well as future technologies such as near-field communications (NFC). The consortiums was founded by companies in the automotive, mobile communication and consumer electronics industries. The CCC seeks to create open and common solutions for smartphones and vehicle-centric information and communication systems.
