Overview Edit

The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a software model developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) to address the problems raised by using multiple models of cybersecurity in software and systems development. Originally developed with the intention of evaluating the development and quality of government contractors' software and systems, CMMI has since become the best-known architecture for a maturity model and has been generally applied in other parts of the organization in order to evaluate business processes.
