The Computerized Criminal History (CCH) system is a central repository for data maintained by the FBI to collect, exchange, classify, and preserve identification records including fingerprints. The information is voluntarily submitted, on a mutually beneficial basis, from all law enforcement agencies and other governmental agencies.
