Definition[]

Bounce means

to return e-mail to the sender that is, for whatever reason, undeliverable to its intended destination. There are various reasons why e-mail may be bounced. Examples are an incorrect address, problems with local network facilities, and problems with telecommunications links. Bounced e-mail is often accompanied by an error message describing the reason that it was not delivered.[1]
