Definitions[]

A biometric identifier is

a technology that enables the automated identification, or verification of the identity, of an individual based on biometric information.[1]
[a] retinal pattern, fingerprint, or other anatomical feature that can be used by a computer program (along with appropriate interface equipment) to positively identify a user.[2]
