Overview[]

The Australian Internet Security Initiative (AISI) is an initiative to mitigate zombie botnets. It collects information on compromised/infected computers which are used to construct these botnets and compares the IP address of compromised computers to a list of IP addresses of Australian internet service providers (ISPs) and as necessary, advises relevant ISPs of the IP address so that the ISP can inform customers and liaise with them to fix the compromised computer.
