Assured delivery is

[t]he ability to optimize session completion rates despite degradation due to network disruptions, natural disasters, or surges during crisis or war. Features of assured delivery include Forward Error Correction (FEC), compression, Quality of Service, Priority Based Admission Control (PBAS), Session Admission Control (SAC) or Assured Services Admission Control (ASAC).[1]
