Definition Edit

An arbitration agreement is a written contract in which two or more parties agree to use an arbitration process, instead of litigation, to resolve certain, specified disputes. While an arbitration agreement is generally entered into before the need for arbitration arises, agreements to arbitrate an existing dispute are also used.
