Overview[]
This Communication takes stock of the results achieved by the European Commission since the adoption of the Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Action Plan (CIIP action plan) in 2009. It describes the next steps planned for each action at both European and international level. It also focuses on the global dimension of the challenges and the importance of boosting cooperation among Member States and the private sector at national, European and international level, in order to address global interdependencies.
