Advanced Intelligent Network (abbreviated as AIN) is “[a] system of interrelated computer-based components linked to a switched or wireless telecommunications network that provides a framework for services, e.g., call forwarding, credit card authentication, personal identification numbers, speed dialing, voice-dialing, etc.”[1]
