Definition Edit

AIFF (an acronym for Audio Interchange File Format) is an audio format developed originally for use on Apple Mac computers. It is similar to the WAV format on a PC. Although the AIFF format was created by Apple, audio programs on both the Mac and PC can typically read the files.
